The Super Seniors of the First Baptist Church will honor widows and widowers at a light breakfast Sept. 29 at 9 a.m. at the Bell County Museum, 201 N. Main St. Belton.  

After the breakfast in the second floor auditorium of the Carnegie Building, Stephanie Turnham, museum director. will give the group a guided tour of the museum. This will include the permanent exhibit, Passport Through Bell County, on the first floor of the Carnegie Building and the current traveling exhibit on North American Indian Art by Edward S. Curtis in the main exhibit room of the North Addition. The 39 photographs on exhibit are the largest archive of a single artist representing Indian culture, and will be open until Oct. 18. Permanent museum exhibits include the Governors Ferguson Collection, Chisholm Trail and moustache cups.

The Super Senior Support Group was created by widows and widowers at the First Baptist Church 11 years ago to provide quarterly breakfasts with an educational and social benefit. The breakfast with coffee and juice is free and open to the public. Call Kandy Kirkley at the First Baptist Church, 939-0705 for reservations and information.
