Wedding: Mr. & Mrs. David James

Stephanie Paige Halbert of Round Rock and David Bryan James of Austin were wed June 22 at 7 p.m. at Cimarron Hills Country Club in a double ring ceremony with Kirk Wooldridge, uncle of the bride, officiating. Music was provided by Hyde Park Strings Quartet of Austin and soloists Sharon Hoisager of Arlington and Shelly Wooldridge, aunts of the bride.

  Stephanie is the daughter of James and Susan Halbert of Burnet. David is the son of Jim and Sharon James of Temple.

The bride wore a Maggie Sottero gown adorned with intricate lace detail and tulle, featuring an elegant Swarovski beaded belt at the natural waist with a sweetheart neckline. The bride was given away by her parents.


Matrons of honor were JaNae Dunaway of Leander, sister of the bride, Brooke Shuman of Fort Worth, and Lindsay Oler of Temple. Bridesmaids included Kasey Halbert of Round Rock, sister-in-law of the bride, and Suzanne James of Cedar Park, sister-in-law of the groom. Best Man was Mark James of Cedar Park, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included William McAnelly of Buda, Jake John of Pflugerville, Jeff Olson of Lago Vista, and Jared Halbert of Round Rock, brother of the bride. Flowergirls were the bride’s nieces, Lilly Dunaway of Leander and Payton Halbert of Round Rock. Ring bearers were the groom’s nephews, Luke and Ethan James of Cedar Park.

Ushers included Ben Parker of Belton, Tim Emr of Austin, Matthew Crossley of Round Rock, cousin of the bride, Colton Hoisager of Arlington, cousin of the bride, and Kevin Dunaway of Leander, brother-in-law of the bride.

  Reception was held at Cimarron Hills Country Club. The couple honeymooned in Kauai and the Big Island of Hawaii. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents in the Terrace Room of Cimarron Hills Country Club.

  Stephanie is a graduate of Baylor University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She works for the Round Rock Independent School District as a School Social Worker.

David is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Journalism. He works as the director of product marketing at Lithium Technologies in Austin.
