There was an estimated 15 donors throughout the day including Belton Fire Department Administrative Assistant Sara Trevino and her father.
Corona also recruited his daughter to come by after work to donate.
Numerous community members and citizens took the opportunity to help save a life by donating blood. And, of course, the Fire Department allowed the children that accompanied their parents to donate to color while they waited on their parents, tour the fire station and sit in the Quint, one of the department’s engines.
“I think we ended up with a few more donors than Belton PD received at their drive on the 19th, but I think we are all awesome for helping save lives by donating,” said Trevino.
