Wanda J. Brentham

Wanda J. Brentham, 74, of Belton passed away on Oct. 8 in her home. A graveside service was held on Tues., Oct. 15, at Bellwood Memorial Park.   
Wanda was born to William and Lorene (Foster) Monty on Jan. 17, 1939, in Dallas.  She earned her associates degree from a business school in Dallas. Wanda married W. C. Brentham in Dallas. After being a legal secretary, she became a homemaker and a mom.  
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents.


Wanda’s survivors include her daughters, Malana Hathcoat of Belton,  Montie Lynn (Frank) Everett of Fresno, Calif., and Susan Elaine Thurman and fiance’ Gary G. Russell of Belton; son, W.C. Brentham II of Belton; grandchildren, Rachel Yvette Engeling, Amanda Marie Hathcoat, Danny Thurman, W.C. Brentham III, Ethan M. Brentham, and Denton M. Brentham; great-grandchildren, Nadja Monett, Kaleb Joseph, Kalena Grace, Isaac Augustus, Adam David, Rowan Suzanne, Aaron Marlow, Keith Thurman, Emily Thurman, and Keira Thurman; brother, Fred Monty of Gun Barrel City, Texas. 
Heartfield Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
