As part of the 2009-2010 Arts-in-Education Season, the Cultural Activities Center will present Mad Science’s Fire and Ice Sept. 9 and 10 at the CAC and at BISD Sept. 11 for grades 3-5. During the performance, children will explore science. The performance will include striking visuals created with dry ice fog storms, bubbling potions of trapped gases and amazing chemical reactions.  

The Program will also include special effects demonstrations of Bernouli’s Principle, states of matter and more. Program includes a study guide online at www.cacARTS.org that is available for teachers and parents to access and use in the classrooms prior to the show.

The 2009-2010 Arts-in-Education Season and is made possible by funding from Mid America Arts Alliance, The National Endowment for the Arts, BNSF Railways, The Texas Commission on the Arts, Temple and Belton Independent School Districts, Coca- Cola, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, City of Temple, Wal-Mart, and CAC Member Support.
