McDonald House Golf Tourney

Former sports stars will come to Temple Sunday afternoon, May 19, to visit the children at McLane Children's Hospital Scott & White & the Ronald McDonald House. That night, there will be a dinner with live and silent auctions upstairs at the Bell County Expo Center. Many of the celebrities will be there. This is a good time to mingle with celebrities and other golfers.

The next morning, May 20, golf will be played at the Courses of Clear Creek on Fort Hood. This is a 6 person team scramble (1 celebrity team captain with 5 local golfers.). There will be refreshments on the course and a bar-b-q dinner during the presentation of prizes at the end of tournament play. Each golfer will receive a goody bag, commemorative shirt, and an autographed team picture with our hosts, Dallas Cowboy legends Bob Lilly and Randy White, and world famous clown Ronald McDonald.

All proceeds from the event benefit RMHC of Temple. Ronald McDonald House Charities is the umbrella over Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Room.

This is the 26th annual celebrity golf classic benefiting RMHC. Sponsors, auction items, volunteers, celebrities, and local golfers are needed. For more information, please call Susan Bolton at (254) 770-0910.
