Lady Tigers golf second at Midway

The Lady Tigers I and II golf squads claimed second and sixth in the Midway tournament at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco. Coach Lauren Sanders's ladies battled a windy day in the mid 50's to finish as runnersup behind Round Rock Westwood.
Alessa Gonzales fired an 87 for third overall individually.
Teammates and their scores included: Hannah Sims (97), Kyler Tormey (97), Kove Young (101), Codie Robinson (102), Taylor Jacobs (106), Kimberlie Sniggs (107), Victoria Sobiech (111), Brittanie Keener (114) and Samantha Waggoner (120).
Other teams from third place to finish were: Midway I, Harker Heights, Temple, Belton II, Ellison, Copperas Cove, China Spring, Midway II, Brownwood and Robinson.
