A memorial service for Shannon Ruth Marshall, 55, of Belton will be at 3 p.m. March 11 at the Hope Community Church in Belton. Pastor Mike Bergman will officiate. Mrs. Marshall died Feb. 13 in an area hospital.
She was born July 2, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio to Sam and Nancy (Povah) Marshall. She served two years in the U.S. Army and ran the pastoral counseling Center, The Secret Place. A minister since 1997 she was the founder of Look Up Ministries in 1999. She was a member of the Hope Community Church in Belton for several Years. She held a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and loved animals.
She is survived by her son, Sean McMurrer of Georgetown; two brothers, Sam Marshall of North Carolina and John Marshall Washington state and one grandson.
Heartfield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
