Janice F. Smith, 73, of Belton died Jan. 11 in an area hospital. Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Feb.125 in North Belton Cemetery with the Rev. Anna Pearl Thomas officiating.
Mrs. Smith was born Jan. 8, 1939 to Henry and Nancy/Nanny Miller Ward at Woodward, Oklaa. She married Romey W. Smith in 1955. They owned and operated Romey Smith Septic Tank Service in Belton.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Matthew Mark Smith and Romey Wright Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Romey Smith of Belton, one son, Wilbur John Smith and one daughter, Karen Diane Smith both of Belton and one grandson.
Heartfield Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
