Obituaries

James Hardy Windham

Hardy Windham, 73, of Temple died May 13 in an area hospital. Graveside services were at 11 a.m. March 16 in North Belton Cemetery with Minister Joe Baisden officiating.

Mr. Windham was born July 15, 1936 in Muskogee, Okla., to Hardy Orban and Mildred Ruth Windham. He graduated from Muskogee High School and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Oklahoma. After becoming a CPA he joined the accounting firm of Ernst, and Young in Houston, then spent years as vice president and chief financial office of the Houston Corporation, a private investment firm.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Doss (McGuyer) Windham of Temple; one daughter, Anne McLeod and husband Scott, one son, Regan Windham, daughter-in-law Sharon Windham, one sister, Carolyn Windham Smith and husband, Riley of Poteau, Okla., four grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
