JLBC donating proceeds from campaign

For the remaining Tuesdays in April, Hilton Garden Inn Temple, 1749 Scott Boulevard will donate all proceeds from their Drive Thru Dining to the JLBC Dining Night Out. Pre-orders and drive thru meals are available for $7 per person. To support the JLBC and their impact on displaced women and children of Bell County, please take part in the JLBC Dining Out Night on Tuesdays, April 17 and 24.

The Junior League of Bell County will meet for their April General Membership Meeting (GMM) on April 17 at the Cultural Arts Center, 3011 North Third St. in Temple. Social hour will begin at 6:30 pm and the meeting will begin at 7 p.m. JLBC will also collect twin sheet sets to aid Our Lady of Angels Maternity Shelter in Temple. Additionally, the Spring JLBC New Member Class will hold the "Glass Slipper Sale" with a preview party on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Second Hand Rose, 17 East Central Ave. in Temple. The Junior League is comprised of active, sustainer and new members. Active members serve JLBC through a committee or council, contributing volunteer hours in the community and supporting the in-league fundraising and community projects. Sustainers are those members who no longer serve JLBC through an active placement, but instead offer support through guidance, advice and a financial commitment. New members participate in a training program to learn more about the Junior League.
