Obituaries

Aubrey L. Taylor

Aubrey L. Taylor, 91, of Temple died April 4 at his home in Temple. Graveside services were at 10 a.m.April 6 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Nolanville with Bro. Harlan Hanks officiating.

Mr. Taylor was born in Lampasas Feb. 13, 1921, the son of Robert Lee and Jesse (Edwards) Taylor. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-45 throughout the European Theater including Normandy. He married Lena Mae Pruitt in 1946 and worked with Civil Service at Fort Hood and for Mauldin Plumbing in Temple.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a son.

Clarence Lee Taylor; his parents, one brother, Garland Robert Taylor; four sisters, Dorothy Pruitt, Ana Mae Madden, Betty Jo Ragdale and Bobbie Jo Pruitt.

He is survived by two sons, Larry Taylor and wife Rebecca of Temple, Daniel Taylor and wife Carol of Belton; brothers, Leonard Taylor of Temple and Dennis Taylor of Belton, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Dossman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
