Eufemia “Susie” Cruz-Rodriguez

Funeral services for Eufemia "Susie" Cruz-Rodriguez, 87 of Belton, were held on Wednesday April 11, 2012, at Christ the King Catholic Church. With Rev. James Misko officiating. Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery.

Mrs. Cruz-Rodriguez died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at her home in Belton.

Mrs. Cruz-Rodriguez was born March 20, 1925, in Belton, the daughter of Marcelino and Carmen (Ramirez) Martinez. She married Francisco "Pancho" Cruz-Rodriguez September 18, 1970. She was a long time member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Through the VFW she enjoyed volunteering at the Temple V. A. Hospital. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Francisco "Pancho" Cruz-Rodriguez and two sons Raymond Cerecerez and Jesse Cerecerez.

Survivors include two sons Frank Cerecerez of Belton and Johnny Cerecerez of San Antonio; five daughters Rosie Canava of Kyle, Olga Cerecerez of Little River, Betty Canava of Belton, Ruth Toth of Belton and Delia Munoz of Temple; three brothers Pete Martinez of California, Bill Martinez of Salado and Sunday Martinez of South Carolina; three sisters Josie Martinez of Corpus Christi, Connie Lopez of Illinois and Stella Sanchez of Killeen. 27 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren.

Dossman Funeral Home of Belton is in charge of arrangements.
