BISD to host presentation about bond election

Information on the upcoming Belton ISD bond election set for May 12 will be provided Thursday, Apr. 19 at 6 p.m. in the Belton Middle School cafeteria in a presentation given by Dr. Susan Kincannon, Superintendent. A second presentation will be Thursday, May 3 at 6 p.m. in the Small Theater at Belton High School.
Early voting for the bond election begins Monday, April 30 through Tuesday, May 8 from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. On Thursday, May 3, is an extended voting time from 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Registered voters may vote at any early voting location: Belton ISD Administration, 400 N. Wall; Belton High School, 600 Lake Road; and Joe M. Pirtle Elementary, 714 S. Pea Ridge Road.
Election day is Saturday, May 12, with voting from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Voters must vote according to trustee area, with Trustee Areas 1 and 4 at Joe M. Pirtle Elementary, 714 S. Pea Ridge Road; and Trustee Areas 2, 3, and 5 at T. B. Harris Community Center, 401 N. Alexander.
