Felix Salazar, 90, of Belton died April 19 in a Temple hospital.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. April 21 at Dossman Funeral Home with the Rev. Eliseo Arriaga officiating. Burial was in North Belton Cemetery.
Mr. Salazar was born in Runge County the son of Pablo Salazar and Juanita Vargas Salazar. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and worked for many years for Fred Bandas Construction. He was a member of the First Mexican Baptist Church in Beltoj.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ofelia Cruz. He is survived by one son, Jimmy Salazar of Belton; two daughters, Linda Salazar Sancen of San Antonio and Sally Santos of Waco; one brother, Modlain Minor of White Hall; two sisters, Mary Granja of Austin and Oralia Luna of Belton, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces including Julia Arriga of Belton.
Dossman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
