Natural Grocers opens doors in Temple
Tuesday, 13 September 2011
The official Grand Opening for Natural Grocers is taking place from Aug. 23-28.
The opening of the store that specializes in organic vegetables and fruit will be a welcome addition to the city of Temple and surrounding areas.
All produce at Natural Grocers will comply with United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations before being sold, to ensure that customers are purchasing healthy and safe products.
"We have meticulously imported natural foods that have been federally approved and are ready to be consumed," Store Manager Manny Ramirez said. "We look forward to providing a quality service to our customers and making sure that their health needs are met."
Ramirez added that Natural Grocers was determined to debunk any myths that claimed that organic food was always overpriced and not appetizing.
"Our produce is affordable, delicious and we will also have organically certified natural health coaches available at the store, who will answer any questions posed by customers concerning healthy diets," Ramirez said.
During the Grand Opening Week, there will be food samples, daily prize drawings and various grand raffle prizes.
The new store will operate from 8:56 a.m. - 9:04 p.m. Ramirez described the unusual hours of operation as a unique way to help customers that were in the habit of arriving at stores a few minutes late or those that would go to stores a few minutes early.
The official opening attracted many residents and visitors from surrounding areas.
"People I have talked to have been looking forward to this place opening for months," said Doshia Wall who was present to witness the Grand Opening.
Natural Grocers will also provide healthy food items for pets, beauty cosmetics and various organic products including ice-cream.
The new Natural Grocers is now open and is located at 3621 S. General Bruce Dr.
