Arrows will be filling the air at Solana Ranch May 12 ---- Archers will be competing in the Legacy Outfitters 3D Fun Shoot.
This will be a 30 target shoot benefitting Legacy Outfitters, a Christian non-profit men's outdoor group. The Belton-Temple chapter of the organization will be awarding prizes for First thruThird place in each of a number of categories.
Categories wll include: Male and Female Open, Male and Female Hunter, Male and Female Traditional and Youth Class and Cubs.
The event will be held at Solana Ranch, across from the Hidden Springs Subdivision south of Salado.
Texas Walk Up registration will take place on May 12 from 8:00am to 2:00pm and score cards will be due in by 4:00pm. Registration cost will be $10 for adults, $5 for youngsters 12-17 years of age and $2 for youth 11 and under.
To get to Solana Ranch from Belton: Go south on IH 35 through Salado and take the FM 2843 exit toward Florence. Head southwest for approximately four miles and the entrance to the ranch will be on the left, across from the Hidden Springs Subdivision.
