Temple Sew, Quilt to host summer camps

From thread to top of the line sewing machines, Temple Sew and Quilt has everything for your sewing and quilting needs.

Since 1997 they have held a week long camp in the summer for kids ages 7-10 and 11-14 for the price of $95 with all supplies provided. The kids will be taught all of the basics of sewing in a fun and friendly environment with projects and handmade items they can take home and cherish.

"The camps are very popular," Steve Weathers owner of Temple Sew and Quilt said. "It's not like the home etc. classes you take in school, it is much more fun. The kids seem to really enjoy it."

Towards the end of summer, the Anita Goodesign company will be coming to the store for an "Embroidery party".

The Anita Goodesign company has three full time artists, and was started by Steve Wilson. They strictly work from home and offer affordable designs from CD's to advertisements to pillows and remain the leaders in home embroidery designs.

If you would like more information about the kids camp or when Anita Goodesign will be visiting, call the store at (254) 774-9797.
