Ashley Claypool chosen as State Finalist

Ashley Claypool, 10, daughter of Darrin and Traci Claypool of Belton, was recently chosen as a State Finalist in the National American Miss Texas Pageant that will be held June 16 and 17 in Houston. Ashley will compete in the 10-12 division.
The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the National Pageant at Disneyland in California.
Her activities include gymnastics, walking her dogs, caring for animals and baking. Ashley also enjoys spending time with friends and family, helping younger kids with homework, making hand-made scarves for kids in Africa, camping, school and watching the Disney Channel.
Ashley's sponsors include family, friends, neighbors, B-Town Burgers, Your Travel Agent and Liberty Mart of Temple.
