Obituaries

Frank Hernandez

Frank "Slick" Hernandez, 66 of Belton, died May 29 at his home. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. June 1 at Dossman Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Reed and Bro. Chuck Hernandez officiating.

Mr. Hernandez was born in Georgetown Aug. 18, 1945 to Nieves Hernandez and Francis (Torres) Hernndez. He worked as an electrician and spent his free time coaching fore the Central Texas Youth Football League.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Marilyn Hernandez and Amanda Gonzalez and two brothers.

He is survived by his companion, Teresa Jones; five sons, James Hernandez, Jason Hernandez, Alvin Alexander, Benton Morgan, Michael Jones; four daughters, Theresa Hernandez Copeland, Gina Hernandez and Candy Hernandez; one brother, Chuck Hernandez; two sister, Marie Hernandez, Linda Hernandez Yost, 29 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Dossman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
