Workers place brick on the facade of 3T Sales & Service’s new building, located on the corner of Main Street and 13th Street. 3T Sales & Service and Central Texas Bad Boy Mowers & MTV's are moving back to Belton this fall.
They are currently located in Temple in the former Saturn dealership building on H.K. Dodgen Loop. It is another change in the retail industry in Belton.
They offer everything you need for all of your landscaping from equipment to products – two businesses, one convenient location.
They were previously located in Belton on IH-35 before being forced to move to Temple due to the IH-35 expansion. The new store will be located on the corner of Main Street and 13th Street, where the old car wash was at the viaduct. The site is more than 3 acres and a 5,500 square-foot showroom and an office building is under construction.
"The Belton City Council was easy to work with," said owner Trey Gallaway. "They are pro-business and they wanted that area cleaned up and developed. Due to the high traffic count for the location we will have two entrances, one on Main Street and one on 13th Street."
3 T Sales & Service focuses on meeting all of your landscaing material needs. They offer various types of stone and rock from bulk pea gravel to large landscaping boulders. Other items include grass/sod, topsoil, trees, crushed granite and sand just to name a few.
Central Texas Bad Boy Mowers & MTV's features the full line of Bad Boy Mowers and Utility Vehicles as well as Troy Bilt walk-behind mowers, Mantis Tillers, RedMax handheld equipment and Dolmar handheld equipment. In addition to equipment they have a full service small engine repair facility run by Dewayne Brown. They fix all brands and models and are a factory authorized repair facility for most brands. Pick-up and delivery is also available.
The building should be finished by late summer and opened for business around September.
"Though the building project has taken longer than expected," said Gallaway, "we look forward to returning to Belton where I got started. The community and customers are very supportive."
