All-district Baseball

The honors keep coming for Belton baseball --- Three seniors who helped lead coach Eddie Cornblum's Tigers to an 18-14 season and the Region II quarterfinals were named to the All-District 12-5A First Team.
Blayten Magana was 6-3 on the mound and Max Hogan and Shane Ward were heavy hitters at the plate.
Second-Team All-District selections for Belton included seniors Austin Bishoff and Hunter Houston and junior Jared Janczak.
Tigers awarded Honorable Mention All-District were senior Jarret Pickens, junior Juan Lagunas and sophomores Chase Cryer and Walker Winders.
These players were honored for their work ethics and doing the things that must be done for a team to be successful. They were all examples to the younger players and brought a winning attitude to Cornblum's program. Congratulations!
