Oel Warren ³Bubby² Richey, 71 of Holland died June 22 at his home. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. June 25 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belwith the He Rev. Richard Worden officiating. Burial was in Val Verde Cemetery in Milam County, east of Holland.
He was born in Bartlett Oct., 19.,1940 to Albert (A.W.) and Glynn Doris (Townsend) Richey. He married LaVone Nell Bunte May 19, 1963 in Austin. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S.Rochester. Following military service he worked for civil service at Ft. Hood for 35 years. He was Director of Logistics.
He lived in Salado for 25 years before moving to Holland. He was a member, Chairman of Deacons and Sunday School Superentindent at Val Verde Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Laone Roichey of Holland; three daughters, Rachelle Urbantke of Holland, Dana King of Morgan¹s Point Resort and Vona Hallbauer of Holland, three brothers, five sisters and five grandchildren.
