Jenna Cecile Ellis of Belton and Scott Giles Stephens of San Diego, Calif., were married June 23 at The Vine Church in Temple. Parents of the couple are Fuzz and Becky Ellis of Belton and Tim and Beverly Stephens of Belton. The bride's grandparents are Cecil and Wanie Ellis, of Belton, Mary Jo Johnson and the late Paul Johnson of Copperas Cove, Zaidee Manis of Denison. Mamie Bouchelle of Lampases is the great-grandmother. Grandparents of the groom are Billie Stephens of Belton and the late John Stephens and Bill aned Kay Buckley of Dallas.
Dr. Mark Henderson, uncle of the groom, officfated at the double ring ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Chris Payne of Temple as musician.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a taffeta A-line gown with sweetheart neckline, navy satin sash and a beautiful brouche.
Nancy Medellin of San Antonio was the bride's honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Ashley Rae Lockin of Granger, Katelyn Faulkner of Austin and Kayla Muszynski of Yukon, Ok., sister of the groom.
Joel Doss of Belton was best man. Groomsmen were Jordan DeKerythy of Abilene Evans Ellis of Belton, grother of the gtroom and Jefdf Muszynski of Yukon, brother- in-law of the groom.
A reception followed at the Bell County Expo Center.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. the couple will live in San Diego, Calif.
The bride is a graduate of Belton High School. She is a nursing student at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and is employed as an entertainment partner.
The groom is stationed with the U.S. Navy at San Diego. He is an Aviation Ordinanceman.
The rehearsal dinner at Schoepf's Barbecue was hosted by the parents of the groom.
