Gospel meeting at Pearl Church of Christ The Pearl Church of Christ in extreme west Coryell County will hold its summer gospel meeting July 13, 14, 15. For the ninth year, Joe Baisden of Belton will be the conduct the 7 p.m. services Friday night services will be followed by snacks and fellowship in the church dining room and Saturday night services will be followed by a homemade ice cream supper. The 10:30 a.m. service Sunday will be followed by an old-time "dinner on the ground." For information and directions to Pearl call 254-865-9282. Joe Baisden was minister of the Belton Church of Christ for 33 years, retiring in 2004. He continues to preach serving as interim minister, holding gospel meetings. He is currently interim song director at the Salado Church of Christ. He serves as minister on staff at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton and regularly visits area hospitals. The Pearl Church of Christ was organized in 1895.
