Virginia Ellen Jeffcoat, 64 of Belton died July 7 in a Temple Hospital. Memorial services were at 10 a.m. July 11 at Heartfield Funeral Home. Mrs. Jeffcoat was born Sept. 6, 1947 in Temple to Charles B. and Royace Marie Hawkins. In 1965 she graduated from Nuttall High School in Lookout, WV and married Wayne Jeffcoat in Belton March 23, 1989. She worked for CARE (formerly known as Santa Fe Hospital in Temple) for 32 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, one son, Gene Neal, one broher, Buddy Hawkins and one brother-in-law, Dallas Elkins.
She is survived by her husband, one son, J.B. Neal of Falling Waters, WV, two daughters, Kim Stinnett and husband Stevemand of Temple and Amanda Maganess of McKinney; Buster Hawkins and wife Sonia Jones of Hico, WV, R.P and wife Paula Hill of Temple; sisters Pat Sedlock and husband Andy of Hico, WV, Cindy Bennett and husband Keith of Hico, WV., Loretta Elkins of HIco, WV; sisters-in-law, Linda Perkins of Rogers and Lorene Love of Temple, two grandchildren and her mother, Royace Hawkins of Little River.
