Belton ISD names deputy superintendent

Belton ISD Superintendent, Dr. Susan Kincannon, has announced that Eric Haugeberg has been named as the District's Deputy Superintendent for Finance and Operations. Mr. Haugeberg currently serves as Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations.

Haugeberg is a native of Belton, graduating from Belton High School in 1988. He received his bachelor's degree from Baylor University, his master's from Florida State University, and is currently completing his doctorate at Texas A&M University.

He previously served in Comal ISD and Stockdale ISD and returned to Belton in 2002 as Director of Research and Testing. He has since served as Assistant Superintendent for Student Services, and Assistant Superintendent for Support Services.

"Eric is a trusted, valuable, and loyal member of the District's Administrative team," Kincannon said. "He has directly contributed to our success in many areas, and I am excited about his serving in this new capacity as he assists me to ensure the continued success of the District."
