Earl C. Haddock, 90, of Arlington formerly of Salado died July 28 at his home. Funeral sevices were at 1 p.m. July 31 at Dossman Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Derald Dugger officiating.
Burial was in the Salado Cemetery at Salado.
Mr. Haddock was born Oct. 11, 1921 in Oklahoma City, Okla., the son of Earl C. Haddock and Ira (Moore) Haddock. In World War II he served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He married Lena Curry Sept.13, 1944, in Rockwall. H worked for the Texas Department of Public Safety for 32 years, retiring as an inspector in 1982. He was a 60-year 32nd degree Mason, and a past master of the Salado Masonic #.296, of which he was a long time member.
He was preceded in death by his son. Stephen Earl Haddock.
He is survived by his wife, Lena Haddock of Arlington, two daughters, Jan Bint of Arlington and Faye Engelke of Seguin; his step-mother, Lois Haddock of Abilene, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Dossman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
