Rebecca “Becky” Rogers

Funeral services for Rebecca "Becky" Rogers, 40, of Houston will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at the Val Verde Baptist Church with Rev. Judy Gotcher officiating. Burial will follow at the Val Verde Cemetery.
Ms. Rogers died Sunday, July 29, in a Houston Hospital.
Ms. Rogers was born April 9, 1972, in Temple, the daughter of William and Wilma Rogers. She was a 1990 graduate of Langham Creek High School and attended the University of Houston. She was a volunteer with the Cypress Fairbanks Hospital. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Ms. Rogers was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include one son, Ethan Rogers of Houston, mother, Wilma Rogers Kruse and step-father, Robert Kruse of Houston; grandparents, Julian and Yvonne Rogers of Temple.
