Modern Woodmen offers kids ecology program

To help kids understand the part people play in the environment, Modern Woodmen of America offers free ecology program materials to schools, homeschoolers and youth groups.

Covering natural resources, endangered species, ecosystems and more, the updated "Partners in Ecology" program includes easy-to-use materials that meet many national science education standards.

Hands-on program activities are tailored by age group for preschoolers through eighth-graders.

Modern Woodmen representatives donate youth educational programs on a variety of subjects, including ecology, exercise and nutrition, financial literacy, civics and American history, safety and life skills, and public speaking.

As a tax-exempt fraternal financial services organization, Modern Woodmen sells life insurance, annuity and investment products not to benefit stockholders but to improve the quality of life of its stakeholders – members, their families and their communities.

This is accomplished through social, charitable and volunteer activities, including donation of youth educational programs.

Local, Modern Woodmen representative Cyndi Woytek, 3809 S. General Bruce Dr., Ste 103, PMB 176, Temple, TX. 76502.
