UMHB Volleyball

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor volleyball team had chances to close out the match, but the Cru could not put East Texas Baptist away in a 3-2 loss to the Tigers Saturday afternoon in Marshall. UMHB fell 20-25, 25-21, 20-25, 25-18, 19-17 to drop to 12-4 overall and 5-3 in American Southwest Conference play.

Sapphire Reid led the Cru with 18 kills and she added 15 digs. Tina Miller had 14 kills and Prather finished with 47 assists.

The Cru will now return home to host the second ASC/Dig Pink Crossover Challenge of the season on Friday and Saturday.
