Pursuit leads to felon arrest

The Bell County Organized Crime Unit, U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force and the Harker Heights Police arrested Kendrick Shoemo, 34, of Harker Heights after a vehicle and foot pursuit in Harker Heights.
Shoemo was a fugitive, wanted on an outstanding felony warrant out of Florida for distribution of cocaine. He was also under investigation by the Bell County Organized Crime Unit for the distribution of marijuana and cocaine in the Harker Heights and Killeen areas.
Shoemo was transported to the Bell County Jail where he remains in custody.
