New homes coming soon for Temple’s rising population

Centex, the leading brand for first-time and value-conscious homebuyers looking for just the right home, announced on Oct. 12 that it will unveil a new model with five newly designed single-family home floor plans at Alta Vista on Sat., Oct. 27.

"Continued double-digit population growth of the Killeen-Temple-Fort Hood area and the expanding needs of local military families illustrate the need for new properties like these," said Scott Eckley, Vice President of Sales for Centex Homes in Central Texas. "Alta Vista can free these first-time buyers from renting and help them find a home more suited to their needs."

Located west of I-35 on Loop 363, Alta Vista features five newly designed single-family home floor plans ranging from 1,183 to 2,034 square feet starting from the $90s. The new models offer a balance of affordability with unique form and function. The community provides access to Academy Independent School District schools and is minutes away from Temple Park, Lions Junction Family Water Park and Summit Fitness & Recreation.

Along with offering great homes, Centex aims to help demystify the home-buying process for first-time homebuyers by providing the Centex Financial Advisor. This person is in the area to answer any questions, explain financing options and help identify which programs are available, such as Veterans Assistance and Federal Housing Assistance.

This development is one of several from Centex in the Killeen-Temple-Fort Hood area in 2012. In recent months, the homebuilder also unveiled homes at Trimmier Estates and Tuscany Meadows in Killeen.
