Junior High Volleyball

Members of the South Belton Middle School volleyball team go for the ball during a recent match.South Belton Middle School's eighth grade A volleyball team lost to Cove in three sets 26-24, 23-25 and 21-25. Leading servers were Caroline Stegall and Breanna Farrell.
The eighth grade B team defeated Cove in three sets in dominating fashion 25-19, 25-12 and 15-3. Leading servers were Madison Tindell, Sanah Anzaldua and Morgan Callin.
The seventh grade A team lost in two sets. The B team defeated Cove 25-10 and 25-15. Leading servers were Candice Rodriguez and Abbie Cruz.
The eighth grade A team played in the Temple College Tournament and defeated Travis, Bonham, Saint Marry's and Belton Middle School to win the tournament. Farrell was named All-tournament. Leading scorers for the tourney were Farrell, Kaylee Moon and Caitlin Carlisle.
