BHS swim teams dominate tri-meet

Belton’s Austin Couillard swims during a recent meet. Both the boys and girls swim teams won against two Georgetown schools. The Tigers and Lady Tigers swim teams dominated in a tri-meet with both the boys and girls teams winning against the two Georgetown High Schools. The boys team won with a total of 576 points and the girls with 623.
Belton also dominated the Killeen High School meet with the girls winning with a total of a score of 551 at the meet. The boys team finished first with 452.
"We are as good as we can be at this point in the season. We need some consistency on our times in all the events. We need to peak at each race they compete in. The team is meeting my expectations," said swim coach Mike Burt.
