Services for Ava Lewis, 80, of Belton were held at 10 a.m. Wed., Nov. 7, 2012, at Moffat Cemetery with Dave Jeffreys officiating.
Mrs. Lewis was born on Oct. 9, 1932, in Winnsboro, Louis., to the late John Wright and Idella Richardson Smith, Jr. She married Wesley Harold Lewis on Dec. 3, 1953, in Neches, Miss., and he preceded her in death. She owned and operated Ava's Place Restaurant in Belton for many years.
Mrs. Lewis passed away Sun., Nov. 4, at her residence in Belton.
Survivors include three sons, Wesley H. Lewis, Jr. of Marble Falls, Ronnie W. Lewis of Belton, John W. Harold Lewis of Charleston, SC; two daughters, Trudy Mitchell of Belton, Angel Kelly of Belton; two sisters, Reba D. Philly of Oak Grove, Louis., Bertha Clark of Monticello, Miss., 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
