Wilburn “Butch” Drake

Funeral arrangements for Wilburn "Butch" G. Drake, 70, of Burnet, were held at 2 p.m. Wed., Nov. 7, 2012, at Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Denton officiating. Interment followed at Moffat Cemetery.
Mr. Drake passed away Sat., Nov. 3, at his home in Burnet.
Mr. Drake was born on Nov. 19, 1941, in Levelland, Texas, to the late Wilburn David and Laverne Toliver Drake. He was a Master Plumber.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bobby Drake and Edward Drake.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Sadie Drake of Burnet; two sons, David Drake of Temple, Tom Drake of Savannah; two daughters, Lisa Richardson of Waco, Sherri Wahlberg of Cookeville, Tenn.; two sisters, Frances Pitts of Temple, Ruby Benner of Alpine, 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
