BFD employees nominated for awards

Captian Kris MorganFirefighter Clayton KingLt. Wesley GilbreathFirefighter Clayton PostertFour employees of the Belton Fire Department have been selected to receive awards from two local groups.

The Heart of Texas Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution plans to recognize Clayton Postert as Firefighter of the Year and Clayton King as EMT of the Year during a ceremony at the Belton Gin on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 11:30 a.m.

The Temple Elks Lodge will recognize Capt. Kris Morgan as its Firefighter/Medic of the Year and Lt. Wesley Gilbreath as its Firefighter of the year during a meeting at the Temple Elks Lodge beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 17.
