Bell-Fine-ArtsBell Fine Arts is looking forward to a new year with the election of its 2013 officers. The new team is headed up by Linda Lowe by president and vice president Sheron Dressner. A new year is starting for Bell Fine Arts with the election of the 2013 officers.

This new team is headed up by Linda Lowe as president with Sheron Dressner as her vice president.

Other board members are Joyce DeKock as Treasurer, Nancy Pruitt as Secretary, and Marilyn Kovack returning as past President.

The art club will be assisted by Cathty Neese, Andy Phair, Deborah Martin, and Eve Fritch filling out the assisting board members.

The membership of the club is a full contingent of local artists who range from beginners to professional.

The activities of the group are punctuated by classes, general meetings, parties and friendship.

Any Wednesday will find ten to thirty members working at their crafts or just helping others. And of course, a bountiful covered dish luncheon on meeting day.

This year the aim of the club is to host several classes in formal painting in various mediums, china painting, card making, or any number of artistic endeavors.

The level of instructors will be from local talent to professional workshops, or to spur of the moment mini classes.

Bell Fine Arts meets at the club house at 306 East 5th St. in Belton on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. with a covered dish luncheon on the second Wednesday of the month. The club would like to invite any interested persons in the area to come by and visit, paint, or just watch. Also, if you would like to hold a workshop for the group, please call Sheron at (254) 780-9978. As workshop chairman she will be responsible for forming classes for the new year.
