Violet E. (McCracken) Dorsett, 86, died Sept. 13, in San Antonio. Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 16, in Austin Memorial Park in Austin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Dorsett, and two sons, Howard, Dorsett, Jr. and Edward Dorsett Sr.
She is survived by daughters Juanita and John Scott of California; Audrey and Richard Good, Gladys and Harry Newton of Oklahoma and son, Bill and Carroll Dorsett, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
