Jamie Kelley Forrest

Funeral services for Jamie Kelley Forrest, 97, of Belton were held at 10 a.m. on Wed., Jan. 9, at Heartfield Funeral Home. Interment followed at Copperas Cove City Cemetery with Navy Honors.
Mr. Forrest passed away Saturday at a local nursing home.
Jamie was born on Feb. 6, 1915, in Bell County to Thomas and Bonnie Lee (Kelley) Forrest. He married Orba Denson Kelley on Feb. 18, 1939, in Temple. Mr. Forrest served in the United States Navy during WWII and later in the Texas National Guard's 36th Division.
Jamie was preceded in death by his wife; one sister, Willie Lee Carpenter.
Services have been entrusted to Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.
