Obituaries

J.T. Jolly

J.T. (Jaybo) Jolly, 66, of Belton died Sept. 14 at his home in Belton. Funeral services were Sept. 17 at Dossman Funeral Chapel with burial in North Belton Cemetery.

He was born in Coleman, the son of T.J. and Dorothy Ferguson Jolly and married Carolyn Pruett March 5, 1966 in Belton. He was self employed cutting andf selling cedar posts. He was a member of the Belton Volunteer Fire Department in the 1970s. He was a member of The Church of God of the First Born in Belton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Virginia Pushinsky and Barbara Newman.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of Belton, two daughters, VickieWalker and husband Nicky and Donnette Brown and husband Gene all of Belton; five brothers, Roger Jolly of Bertram, Jr. of Brady, Eugene Jolly of Thrall, Jerry Jolly of Brady and John Jolly of Belton; seven sisters, Linda Butler, Billie Ann Keller, Helen Pruitt and Carless Game all of Belton, Gladys Maxwell of Brownwood, Caffie Tanner of Gatesville and Patsy Menzel of Thorndale, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; 25 nieces, and 16 nephews.
