Belton Middle School 7th grade B boys defeat South Belton Middle School 34-25 last Thursday
Aaron Kruger led all scorers with nine points in the BMS victory. Adrian Pierluisses had eight points and Emilio Cortez scored seven points for BMS.
South Belton Middle School wins thriller against Belton Middle School 8th grade A squad 38-32
With Belton High School girls basketball coach Brenda Gomez in attendance, SBMS received 27 points from low post players as South Belton defeated Belton Middle School 8A 38-32.
SBMS led 9-4 after the first quarter and Belton Middle was able to draw back to within five points, 17-12, at the half.
South Belton took advantage in the third quarter, outscoring BMS 14-12 and took a 30-24 lead into the fourth quarter. South Belton was able to hold of Belton Middle for the victory.
Cammi Moore had 12 points for Belton Middle. Meredith Lusby scored seven points and Olivia Fullenwider scored six points for BMS. Hannah Martin had 17 points for South Belton. Kailee Moon contributed 12 points and Caroline Stegall had six points SBMS.
