H.E. Richarz, Jr.

Funeral services for H. E. Richarz, Jr. 82, of Temple, formerly of Garland, were held at 11 a.m. Mon., Jan. 14, at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Temple with Rev. Bradley St. Romain officiating. Burial was at 3:30 p.m. at the Garland Memorial Park Cemetery in Garland, Texas.
Mr. Richarz died Thurs., Jan. 10, at a Temple nursing home.
Mr. Richarz was born in Houston, June 18, 1930, the son of H. E. Richarz and Stella (Bard) Richarz. He married Patricia Edwards, Dec. 24, 1950, in Houston. Mr. Richarz was a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin.
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Air Force from 1950-1954.
The couple lived in Garland for 50 years, and Temple for the last 10 years. He retired from Schering Plough Pharmaceutical Sales.
He was a member of the NRA and St. Francis Episcopal Church in Temple.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Ruth (Edwards) Richarz of Temple; daughter, Cindy Allen of Belton; sons, Richard Richarz of Grand Canyon, Ariz., and Kurt Richarz of Boulder, Colo.; a sister, Pauline Mohnke of Boerne; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
