MPR Ladies Auxiliary to host ball

The Morgan's Point Resort Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary for years baked cookies for Valentine's gifts as a fund raiser for the fire department. This year they are hosting a Fireman's Ball Valentine Party at the Hilton Garden Inn in Temple.

Dress is casual and advance ticket pricing starts at $21.25. You don't have to have a date to attend. There will be several choices on the menu with door prizes and an auction at the event that begins at 7 p.m. The cash bar is open at 6 p.m. and there is a romance package offered by the Hilton for those wishing to stay the night.

"Let's get out and support the firemen they need our support. You don't have to dress up fancy and the Hilton has really helped us on this project. There will be a sound system for dancing, gift baskets a three course meal and a live auction. You don't have to have a date to attend nor do you have to live in Morgan's Point. The fireman are going to do a skit and the Zumba ladies with give a demonstration of their exercises. Sometimes it's hard to find a table that night this event makes it easier," said Noel Johnson for the Ladies Auxillary.
