Lois Garner Martin

Services for Lois Garner Martin, 101, of Belton will be held at 10 a.m. Thurs., Jan. 10, at Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel with Joe Baisden officiating. Interment will follow at North Belton Cemetery.
Lois was born on Jan. 9, 1911, to the late Frank and Daisie Heartfield Garner at Belton. She was a secretary for Belton Junior High School for many years. She married Alton C. Martin in 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1993. Mrs. Martin was a long time member of Church of Christ in Belton.
Mrs. Martin passed away Tuesday morning at a local care center.
Survivors include one son, Dan Martin of Belton; one daughter, Jenny Joiner of Star; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
