Leon Heights Elementary Bluebonnet book

Eligible students from Leon Heights voted on their favorite Bluebonnet book last week. Students were required to read five of the 20 books on the 2013 list to be eligible to vote. Three students went above and beyond and read all 20. Congrats, Taegan Hendricks (3rd grade), Thea Lancaster and William Allen (both 5th graders)!
Out of the 126 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders at Leon Heights, 63 of them read five or more of the current Bluebonnet Books and qualified to attend the 9th Annual Leon Heights Bluebonnet Breakfast and vote for their favorite book.
They were also treated with a special breakfast including homemade blueberry muffins, fresh blueberries with cream, Blue Moo Juice, water and they even had a coffee bar complete with decaf coffee and various creamers and sugar.
