BISD School board filings

Filing began Wednesday, Jan. 30 for three positions open for the Belton ISD trustee election on May 11. Mike Cowan has filed an application for the Area 5 position. Penny Digby previously filed for Area 1. Also open is Area 3.

Filing deadline is Friday, Mar. 1. Hours for filing are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Friday. Applications must be filed through the Assistant Superintendent for Student Services and Administration Office by 5 p.m. on Mar. 1, 2013.

Applications may be either obtained from the Secretary of State's web site www.sos.state.tx.us or from the Assistant Superintendents for Student Services and Administration Office at the Belton ISD Administration Office, 400 North Wall Street, Belton, Texas.
