COPPERAS COVE-The Belton High School boys track and field teams participated in the Bulldawg Relays, held at Copperas Cove High School last weekend. The varsity boys place sixth overall with 55 points, junior varsity finished fourth with 84 points and freshman finished in second with 137 points.
Here are the results of the meet:
Varsity: 400m run-Kyle Battle (first place, 50.05), 1600m run-Ryan Hale (sixth place, 4:52.56), 3200m run-Hale (fourth place, 10:31.34), Josh Lopez (fifth place, 10:33.68), Miguel Perez (sixth place, 10:34.21), 110m Hurdles-Chad Rylander (sixth place, 17.17), 300m Hurdles-Rylander (fifth place, 43.01), 4 x 200m Relay-Team of Brandon Julian, Malik Green, Brandon Rhoads and Cager Jack (fifth place, 1:31.90), 4 x 400 Relay-Team of Battle, Jack, Nate Mitchell and Wolf Mahler (fourth place, 3:32.03), Long jump-Battle (fifth place, 22'-2"), Shot put-Rayshawn Jones (fourth place, 49'-0"), Triple jump-Battle (fourth place, 41'-9"), High jump-Rylander (sixth place, 6'-0"), and Pole Vault-Mahler (second place, 15'-0").

Lady Tigers strong at Relays
The Belton High School Lady Tigers Track and Field team participated at the 2013 Lady Bulldawg Relays at Copperas Cove High School last week. Varsity placed sixth overall with 69 points, junior varsity finished fourth with 71 points and freshmen finished second with 132 points. Here is the results from each of the three Lady Tigers teams:
