BISD teachers recognized

At the September Board of Trustees meeting, the following teachers were recognized:
Bridget Jones, sixth grade language arts teacher at Lake Belton Middle School, as the Texas Association of Talented and Gifted Rising Star Teacher of the Year. Making the award was Janet Smith (L) with TAGT.
Jackie Snow (L), AP Biology teacher and instructional facilitator at Belton High School, as the Texas Outstanding Biology Teacher, by the National Association of Biology Teachers.
